MS. GEIGER

Hello My name is Ms. Geiger and I will be teaching 6th grade Science this year. I graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor's of Science in Public Health. I have been in some realm of teaching for about 10 or so years. With my background in Applied Behavior Analysis, I will do my best to stay on top of any behaviors they may impede the learning environment.

It is my goal to create an environment where children are able to grow mentally, emotionally and socially. I plan to create an atmosphere where the students can meet their full potential. It is my responsibility as their teacher to create a unique community in the classroom where students are able to learn with their different learning styles.

MATH TEACHER

MR. HUDSON

Hello! I am Mr. Hudson and I teach 6th grade Math. I earned my degree in Accounting at Cheyney University. In my free time, I like to spend time with family and friends.  I also enjoy music, sports, and comedy. 

I enjoy helping children develop their math skills that can be used in the real world. I also hope to inspire students to pursue their dreams. I intend to prepare students as they advance in their academic journey.  I am enthusiastic about assisting students in understanding their  middle school responsibilities as well as improving their skills in math.  Middle school is a big change for students. I am excited to give them the foundation they will  need to be successful in middle school.

Over the course of my life, I have come to realize the powerful ways in which language and literature shape culture and society. Studying English In my undergraduate years,I have seen many overlaps and themes and  theories, and often approached the study of english through the lens of social theories and social criticisms.

In the classroom now, I am always considering how the studies of language and literature can help individuals understand each other and themselves—with the end goal of gaining new perspectives on the world around them.

Through both speaking and writing, I believe that powerful teaching and learning in English helps students to foster a strong ability to express themselves to others and to understand what other people are trying to say.
